The scholarly advisory board of the Nolde Stiftung Seebüll has confirmed the inclusion of this work in a future catalog raisonné of watercolours and drawings by Emil Nolde (1867–1956). Certificate from Stiftung Seebüll Ada und Emil Nolde / Nolde Museum Seebüll, Neukirchen, dated 28 October 2024, Reg.-Nr. Fr.A.3852 to follow this lot.
