Graphics & Editions
Themed Auction 27 August
![]() |
Graphic art is a collective term for a number of specific and very different techniques – from woodcuts and etching to lithography and serigraphy. The best graphic art is strongly represented on the Danish art scene. Graphic art is the result of a highly specialised artistic process, where the artist creates an original work that is inherently diverse, but where the edition is limited to a set number of prints, approved by the artist with his or her original signature. We have a rich and vibrant tradition for graphic workshops, whose high professionalism and expertise are very much in demand, both at home and abroad. See more |

North Atlantic art
Themed Auction 17 September

Selling Faroese and Icelandic art in an international market has long been a tradition of ours, and we’re now focusing on the best classic and modern art from the Faeroe Islands and Iceland. Nature’s play, changeability and structures are common threads running through Faroese art history, while Iceland’s art history has many points of contact and exchanges with Denmark as a result of strong cultural ties over the centuries. Here, the distinctive and magnificent local scenery is often an artistic starting point, attracting a large number of buyers. Online Auction in September. |
Contemporary Art
Themed Auction 22 October
![]() |
Contemporary art is the art that mirrors, comments and reflects on the world around us in the here and now. And yet it often reveals a fascination with older art and old techniques. But we’re seeing a growing interest in both buying and selling contemporary art at auction. We focus on both established artists and new, up-and-coming artists. See more |

Themed Auction 9 December

We’ll be marking the epochal period in Danish art history, when the cultural scene was flourishing like never before, despite the major national crises. The auction market is seeing unprecedented demand for Danish Golden Age art, and both private collectors and the world’s leading museums have acquired Golden Age works from Bruun Rasmussen in recent years. The Danish Golden Age was one of the most important periods in 19th-century European art, when world-class art was created by a long list of artists with a broad vision and a flexible brush.
