Cecil Beaton (b. Hamstead, London 1904, d. Broad Chalke, Wiltshire, England 1980)

A pair of signed b/w presentatation photographs of Queen Elizabeth II of England (1926–2022) and Prince Philip (1921–2021). Both dated 1979. Blue maroquin leather frames with gold embossed crowned monograms by Plante & Johnson, London. Photo size 18.2×14.2 cm. Frame size 32×22.4 cm. (2).

Provenance: Presented to the Danish Lord Chamberlain Hans Sølvhøj (1919–1989) by Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip during their official visit to Denmark in May 1979. Until today inherited within the Lord Chamberlain's family.
