This panel and the similar panel (Guy Atkins no. 309) were original two doors of a kitchen cupboard on which Jorn painted at the painter Martin Kaalund-Jørgensen house. These doors were dismounted and sold to a dealer who glued canvas to the reverse and the edges of the panels. Later sold at an auction in Kunsthallen, Kunstauktioner, Copenhagen February 1962. (ref.
