A patinated bronze sculpture depicting a private of the Danish Royal Life Guard in uniform with rifle. Signed C. W. 09. Stamped L. Rasmussen København. H. c. 41 cm.

This type of a guardsman sculpture is since 1905 awarded to the outgoing officers as a commemorative gift in gratitude for their faithful service.

Condition

Minimal marks and scratches.
