Boy's portrait. Unsigned. Inscribed on the back: “Gauguin. Purchased at estate auction after Prof. Karl and Mrs. Mimi Larsen. Gift from the artist to Mrs. Mimi”, signed E. Hirschsprung. Gouache on paper laid down on cardboard. 18×12 cm. Unframed.
Provenance: “Boet efter afdøde professor Karl Larsen” (The estate of the late Professor Karl Larsen), auction 130, V. Winkel & Magnussen's Kunstauktioner, Copenhagen 10 March 1933, cat. no. 237.
