A signed b/w presentation photograph of King Frederik VIII of Denmark (1843–1906-1912) wearing the uniform of a general. By the king signed 'Frederik R'. Photo shoot from the period 1906–1912. Lower part embossed 'Eneret' (exclusive rights). Original passe-partout mounting. In contemporary giltwood frame; crown added later. Photo size 15×10,3. Rammemål 36×29 cm.
The photograph has faded slightly. Surface with normal signs of age. Frame with patina and normal signs of handling. A few tiny chips (edges). The crown's cross broken off. Cardboard mounting with a few small stains.
