A Chinese flat tripod bronze censer with “ring handles”. Marked Xuande, but 17th-18th century. Weight 274 g. H. 4 cm. Diam. 10/13 cm.
Provenance: Descendants of Poul Laursen, 1910–1983. He worked for the Great Nordic Telegraph Company and was posted to Shanghai from 1947–1951 with his wife Trine Laursen. After returning home to Denmark he was first deputy director, then executive director and eventually gained the title of managing director in matters of law.
