Shooting for 'Vogue', 1937. Present development 1954. Back with agency stamp, stamped publication date (July 14, 1954) and attached news telegram dated July 13, 1954. Double glazing and oak wood frame. Visible size 18.5×19 cm. Frame size 28.5×29 cm.

From a modern perspective, it is interesting that Frida Kahlo is referred to as Diego Rivera's wife, rather than in her own right, in the attached AP news telegram. Today, she is probably more famous than him.

Condition

This is an original b/w gelatin silver photograph from 1954. Back and front somewhat yellowed. Surface with small stains (moisture?). Furthermore normal signs of handling.
