Poul Hundevad (b. Ågård 1917, d. Askov 2011)

“Gold Hill Chair”. A solid Brazilian rosewood folding stool. Black leather seat. Model PH 41. Manufactured by Poul Hundevad, Vamdrup.

Literature: Mobilia 1957.

Replica of bronze age stool found in a grave outside Vamdrup in Jutland dated 1300 B.C. and thus the oldest preserved piece of furniture in Scandinavia. The original stool is in the collection of the National Museum of Denmark.

CITES-certificate valid for transport and re-sale within the European Union included.

Condition

Wear due to age and use, including scratches and marks. Leather with minor crackles.

Items that are made of Brazilian rosewood or contain parts of it, require a CITES export permit in order to be exported from Denmark to a country outside The European Union. Buyers residing outside the European Union are required to obtain this permit.
