We are Open in Lyngby!
On 2 October, we opened the doors to our new headquarters in Lyngby, where we have gathered all our auctions, exhibitions and areas of expertise under one roof at Nørgaardsvej 3. We look forward to welcoming you to our new auction and culture house!
At Bruun Rasmussen, tradition and renewal go hand in hand. The art of the world, design classics and rare antiques are at the heart of everything we do. That’s how it’s been for 75 years, and, together with Bonhams, we sell art for and to people all over the world who share our passion.
Our company is in the midst of rapid development, and renewal is part of our DNA. As a major player in the international auction market, it is crucial for us to keep up with the times. We therefore have opened the doors to our new headquarter in Lyngby, where we have gathered all our auctions, exhibitions, specialist fields and expertise under one roof in a modern building with high ceilings – literally and figuratively. This means that we have said farewell to our departments at Bredgade 33 and Sundkrogsgade 30 in Copenhagen.
The goal is to be accessible and to tell the good stories behind the multitude of artefacts that we hold in our hands every day. It is our wish to give all visitors to our vibrant, new auction and culture house in Lyngby the best possible experience. You’re always welcome to come in for a free valuation, to consign items to auction, to draw inspiration from the changing exhibitions, to participate in auctions and to attend the talks and other cultural events that take place here on a regular basis.
New Opening Hours, Valuation and Consignment
In Lyngby, we will be extending our opening hours in order to be even more accessible to our customers. So, we will be open for valuation, advice and exhibitions from 11 am–6 pm on weekdays and 10 am–3 pm on Saturdays.
We are always on hand to give you a free valuation and to receive consignments to our auctions. If you have small items for valuation, you can simply come in through the main entrance and head straight to our reception. For valuation of larger items such as furniture, you will need to drive around behind the building. See the map above or for parking areas here
We look forward to seeing familiar faces, new customers and friends of the house in Lyngby!
