Meet Us at Bogforum!

Bogforum is one of the great cultural events of the year in Copenhagen, and we here at Bruun Rasmussen will, of course, be present with events all weekend from Friday 15 November to Sunday 17 November.

What’s It Worth?

Are you considering selling at auction – or do you just want to learn a little more about your family treasures? Then we are here to guide you and answer any questions you might have about buying and selling at auction. As usual, we will be available at the book fair for a chat about what your books, letters or manuscripts are worth. If you are curious, then come by booth C2-023, where we can take a closer look at your belongings from the bookshelf and give you a free and non-binding estimate.

Axel Salto: Alf Larsen Digte. Cph 1919. Illustrated with 5 original and signed etchings by Axel Salto. Inscribed by Salto. Estimate: DKK 2,000.

Meet Alexa Bruun Rasmussen on the Bella Scene

At Bruun Rasmussen, we have been the bridge between unique collector’s items and interested buyers for more than 70 years. Meet Auctioneer and Director Alexa Bruun Rasmussen for a talk with our Specialist in Books Lærke Bøgh about traditions, changes, trendspotting and sustainability. It all takes place on the Bella Scene on Saturday afternoon at 2 pm. Everyone is welcome!

"Art on Paper" up for Auction

As always, in connection with Bogforum, we have put together an auction to suit the occasion. This year's theme is "Art on Paper", and the auction, which will take place on the final day of the book fair, contains both classic poster art, rare postcards, modern art photography and Danish golden age drawings – and of course illustrated books. During the weekend, several of our specialists will drop by and share their knowledge of the items being sold. You can also meet paper artist Charlotte Søeborg Ohlsen, who specializes in folding art in paper. See "The Full Programme" below for further details.

Auction and Preview

You can already now bid on "Art on Paper" at bruun-rasmussen.dk. Prior to the auction, you can get a closer look at the auction lots at the preview, which takes place in our department at Baltikavej 10, 2150 Nordhavn on Monday 11 November and Tuesday 12 November from 11 am to 5 pm both days. Most of the auction lots will also be on display at Bogforum during the opening hours of the book fair.
