Christmas Tree Auction with The Danish Red Cross Youth
The Danish Red Cross Youth is being helped by a star-studded team of celebrities and companies for this year’s Christmas Tree Auction for the benefit of vulnerable children and young people. A total of 11 unique Christmas trees, decorated with luxury goods, experiences and personal artefacts, are being sold. Bruun Rasmussen is new partner of the charity auction, and all the trees will be on display in our showroom at Nørgaardsvej 3 in Lyngby from 8 December until the day of the Online Auction on 19 December at bruun-rasmussen.dk.
“These cycling jerseys are not something you can buy in a store. They’re absolutely collector’s items; not many of these exist.” So said former cyclist Brian Holm, speaking about a few of the items you can find on the “Bicycle Christmas tree” he has decorated together with cycling expert Bastian Emil Goldschmidt for the benefit of the Danish Red Cross Youth.
The Bicycle Tree is just one of 11 specially decorated Christmas trees decorated by well-known Danes and companies for the youth organisation’s annual Christmas Tree Auction. Each tree is decorated with luxury goods, experiences and personal artefacts, all of which will be sold to the highest bidder.
Looking forward to a new collaboration

“There’s not much we haven’t seen as an auction house, but this is the first time that we’re offering no fewer than 11 very special and unique Christmas trees from a number of fantastic and dedicated decorators. We hope that this year’s Christmas Tree Auction will raise a lot of money for an important cause that supports vulnerable children and young people, both at Christmas time and the rest of the year.”

“I was delighted to be asked if I’d like to decorate a Christmas tree for the Danish Red Cross Youth. It’s a fun and different way to make a difference, so I really hope that the trees will raise a lot of money which can help vulnerable children and young people this Christmas.”

Supports vulnerable children and young people
The money raised by the Christmas trees will go towards providing enjoyable experiences for children and young people through the Danish Red Cross Youth’s social activities. These might be children who cannot spend Christmas at home because they’re in hospital, placed in a residential institution or have sought refuge in a women’s crisis centre together with their mother.
