Designer and paper artist Charlotte Søeborg Ohlsen has created a Christmas tree in the form of a beautiful, big Christmas wreath, cut and folded by hand in white paper with marvellous paper insects mounted on it. “There’s a butterfly on my Christmas tree that has been cut and folded in one piece. It’s made from a very fine piece of Japanese paper, which has then been gold plated. The Danish Red Cross Youth’s Christmas Tree Auction. The Danish Red Cross Youth has invited famous and creative personalities to decorate 11 Christmas trees using their own imaginative ideas. The trees are decorated with products from their own brands or from carefully selected partners.
By bidding on one or more of the 11 fantastic trees, you not only get an ocean of wonderful designs and experiences, but you also help vulnerable children and young people during a festive season that can be difficult, when it’s not possible to spend Christmas safe at home. The sum raised from the auction goes, among other things, towards giving children and young people who are forced to spend Christmas in women’s shelters, residential institutions, hospitals or the like, some lovely, cosy Christmas experiences.
