Heinrich Fischer

Hunter-case pocket watch of 18k gold. Grande & petite sonnerie and minute repeater. Lever escapement and crown-winding. Three-part enamel dial with black Arabic numerals and blued steel hands. Lever at 6 o'clock for choosen between “grande sonnerie”, “petite sonnerie” og “silence”. Button at 12 o'clock for activating the repeater. Dust cap of 18k gold. Movement covered by a glass cover. Chain of 14k gold. The chain weighs approx. 37 g. The watch weighs approx. 134 g. Ø 56.5 mm. 1900–10s.

The movement is based on a Swiss ebauche from the late 1800s. Heinrich Fischer established his business in Kolding, Denmark in 1904. He expanded with an office in Norway in 1907. Litt.: Ingvordsen, Jens: Urmagere i Danmark før år 1900.

Condition

Wear due to age and use. The watch does not work. We do not guarantee for the functionality. The movement is in visibly good condition but is in need of servicing. Dial with few small marks along the edge. One 2 mm hairline in the centre of the dial.
