Anton Rosen (b. 1859, d. 1928)
A pair of Art Nouveau birch armchairs. Tall, openwork back with pewter inlays in the shape of flowers and scarabs, made by Georg Jensen. Tapering, carved front legs. Seat upholstered with light fabric. Made 1910. (2)
The chairs were designed specifically for the “Grill Room” at the Palace Hotel in Copenhagen.
