Grete Jalk (b. 1920, d. 2006)

A pair of high back oak easy chairs, back with vertical slats. Seat, loose cushion in back and neck upholstered with brown/black checked wool. Model PJ56H. Designed 1956. These examples manufactured 1956–1960s by P. Jeppesen. (2)

Overall good restored condition. Frames with surface marks, scratches and minor chips/hairline cracks, mainly on wooden plugs. Upholstery in overall good condition, sporadically slightly faded and with minor stains. Both seats with gap between front rail and where seat girths are fitted. (Se photo)
