Mogens Koch (b. Frederiksberg 1898, d. Copenhagen 1992)
A unique, freestanding three seater sofa with profiled Brazilian rosewood frame. Sides and loose cushions in seat and back upholstered with light brown leather. Made 1937 by cabinetmaker N.C. Jensen Kjær. L. 188 cm.
Provenance: Made on special order in 1937 for merchant Hans Chr. Holm, Copenhagen. Copy of the original file card and correspondance about the furniture (from Mogens Koch a.o.) included.
