Eight similar French Louis XVI silver and chased candlesticks with nozzles, of fluted form, top cast with beading border, tapering stem with acanthus leaves and applied with laurel foliage garlands, raised base with more leaves, circular-profiled lower edge with extracted flower decorated fields. Maker Charles-Louis-Auguste Spriman (Spriment), Paris 1775–1792; two dated 1780–1781, three dated 1784, one dated 1785 and two with indistinct date. Weight in total 5,507 g. H. 30 cm. (8)
