Exhibited: The National Gallery of Rhodesia, 1976. On loan from the present owner's family. Provenance: Private collection, Denmark. Acquired by the present owner's grandfather, when he was a young engineer living in Paris in the late 1920s. In 1947, the painting followed with his family to Rhodesia and in the late 1980s returned to Denmark.
