Jens Juel (b. Balslev, Funen 1745, d. Copenhagen 1802)
Two young women with seductive looks. One rests her head on a pillow. She has a pink rose in her hair. The other, a shepherdess with a large pearl earring holds a shepherd's staff in her hand. Inspired by French paintings for example Jean Baptiste Greuze (1725–1805). 1767/68. Unsigned. Oil on canvas. 44×37 cm each. (2).
