A French Louis XVI silver cutting serving dish, of oval form, fluted and curved-lobed border, dish rim engraved with two noble coat of arms with devices, resp. “Ill Æ Sus Utrique” and “Virtute Tempore”. Maker Charles-Louis Auguste Spriman (Spriment), Paris 1781–1783, engraved with weight statement “7 M I o 7 G 1/2”. Weight 1,756 g. L. 49 cm. W. 32.5 cm.
