A thangka of Tsongkapa. He is seated centrally in dhyanasana, hands in the dharmachakra mudra, wearing a yellow hat and monk's robe, shoulders flanked by lotus flowers whereupon a sword and a book rests, in front of him an altar and below his two heart sons Gyaltsap Dharma Rinchen, and Khedrubje Geleg Palzang. Above his head the Tushita realm with Maitreya flanked by two Buddhist masters, in bottom right corner a donor is seated holding a mandala offering. Verso with Tibetan inscription. 19th century.
