A young musician with a hurdy-gurdy in deep thoughts in front of the Kremlin walls. Signed and dated K. Bodri 1849 (in Cyrillic). Oil on canvas. 83×67 cm. Unframed.

Provenance: Alfred Danielsen (b. Riga 1885, d. 1952 in Bonn), Legation Councillor at the Norwegian Embassy in Moscow 1929–1935, where he bought and collected Russian art and antiques.
