A boxed London made Colt navy revolver pattern 1851 number 18517. The c 7 1/2 inch long octagonal barrel is marked ADRESS. COLT. LONDON between arrows. The right-hand side marked crowned CP and crowned V. The same marks are found on the cylinder without naval scene. The frae is marked COLTS PATENT. In the oak box lined with green velvet a James Dixon & son copper and brass powder flask, a tin for patches, an Ely tin for caps, a bullet mould in iron marked COLTS PATENT, a small brass oil flask a brass box for lubricant and a cleaning rod in brass. With the revolver a leather holster.
