A pair of very large French gilt and patinated bronze six-light candelabra, probably designed by Pierre Philippe Thomire each with female figure supporting scrolling branches surrounding a central finial with Egyptian figure, on a pylon-shaped base, drilled for electricity. 19th century. H. 145 cm. W. 46 cm. D. 28 cm. (2)
These candelabra were bought at Mallett Antiques in London.
Provenance: Avening Court, Gloucestershire.
