Egyptian glazed composition figure of Sekhmet, the lion-headed goddess with incised facial features, wearing a striped tripartite wig, a dowel hole for the now missing headdress, back with pilaster. Mounted on a base. Late Period-Ptolemaic c. 664–30 BC. H. 8 cm.

Provenance: Danish private collection. Acquired in Munich, Haus der Kunst, the Tut Ankh Amon exhibition in 1980–81.
