Arne Bang (b. Frederiksberg 1901, d. Fensmark 1983)

A conical stoneware vase with incised vertical grooves. Decorated with sand coloured glaze. Signed monogram, 116. H. 12 cm. DIam. 9.4 cm.

Normal wear due to age and use, including scratches and marks. Upper rim with ca. 3 chips on grooves, and a small hairline crack. Foot rim with chips on the base, presumably originating from removal from kiln, and a small glaze chip and crack.
