A large Danish Baroque silver peg tankard, gilt interior, of cylindrical form, hinged and slightly domed cover, engraved with flowers and foliage centering initials BCW, scrolling handle, standing lion with ball thumb-piece and three similar raised feet, body pricked with initials AHS/KMD/LPL, engraved in bottom with statement of weight “W 99–1 q”. Maker Dionis Willadsen, Næstved 1663–1693. Weight 671 g. H. 22 cm.
