Ernst Kühn (b. Copenhagen 1890, d. Gentofte 1948)
A very rare Brazilian rosewood armchair. Seat and back upholstered with light-colored mohair fabric with light edgings. Designed 1941. Made 1941 by Normina.
Presented at the Copenhagen Cabinetmakers' Guild exhibition in 1941. Most likely the very one from the exhibition. The pieces presented 1941 in the booth of Normina were all pieces made for the private executive apartment at the top of “Persil-huset” on Vesterbrogade, Copenhagen.
