Portrait of Chamberlain Niels Juel the Younger (1696–1766) with his hand on a helmet, wearing a long wig, yellowish suit, an armour with the monogram of King Frederik IV of Denmark and a fur-lined red robe. He is standing in a red-draped interior with a view to a battlefield. Unsigned. Oil on canvas. 178×178 cm.

Niels Juel the Younger was the son of Knud Juel (1665–1709) and his wife, Christine Elisabeth Juel, née von Knuth (1675–1738). He was the third generation of the Juel family at Valdemar's Castle and lord of the manor 1709–1766.
