Hans J. Wegner (b. Tønder 1914, d. Gentofte 2007)
“The Bull Chair”. A solid teak armchair, back with inlays. Seat upholstered with original brown leather. Model JH 518. Designed 1961. This example made circa 1962 by cabinetmaker Johannes Hansen, with maker's metal tag.
Bought by present owner's parents in 1962.
Presented at The Copenhagen Cabinetmakers' 35th Guild Exhibition at Designmuseum Danmark, October 1961.
