The set is a collaboration between father and son. Baruch Griegst initially worked as a silversmith and engraver at Mogens Ballin's workshop. Later he established his own workshop in the centre of Copenhagen, which his son Arje would visit regularly while growing up, so he was naturally influenced with passion and energy to work as a goldsmith himself. Arje trained as a goldsmith with Just Andersen, and later he became a highly esteemed goldsmith with his own workshop. In addition, he also designed sculptures, porcelain and glass with a sound footing nationally and internationally with a special focus on handmade fine jewellery.
