European cavalry sword. circa 1580. Large iron hilt with many hoops, shell plates within the hoops, large faceted, six-sided knob. Remains of decorations. Grip bound with thicker and thinner iron wire. C 95 cm long single-edged blade with long ricasso and wide hollow fuller marked with Wolf and globus cruciger. The iron corroded. Total length 110 cm.
