An original b/w gelatin silver photograph of Argentinian born revolutionary thinker and rebel Ernesto 'Che' Guevara (1928–1967). Back with stamped publication date (January 5, 1967) and handwritten pencil note, 'Che Guevara, Cuba'. Double glazing and oak wood frame. Visible size 10.8×10.8 cm. Frame size 21×21 cm.

According to his contemporaries, Ernesto 'Che' Guevara was characterized by a very penetrating gaze and a strong charisma, two things that seem to be well expressed in this portrait.

'I consider Che to be a moral giant, growing day by day, whose importance, strength and influence have spread to the whole world. How could he be contained under a tombstone? How could he be contained in this plaza? How could he be contained on our beloved but small island? Only the world he dreamed of, that he lived and fought for, is big enough for him.' Fidel Castro on Ernesto 'Che' Guevara.
