A large carved oak ship's steering wheel with ten handles, set with a splitted brass ring and on the brass center marked “Sværfisken 1930”. Mounting as table is possible with associated glass top and a wooden and iron stand. Diam. 152 cm. H. 32 cm. H. total 84 cm.

The ship's steering wheel may possibly originate from the torpedo boat Sværdfisken, which was part of the Danish fleet 1914–1932.

Condition

Minor wear due to age and use, including among others minor marks and scratches. Stand furthermore with chips and a missing nail.
