Unique Macassar bookcase with black lacquered base. Front with six profiled elm shelves, built-in music speakers with lamellae front of root wood and fold-down door with large circular ebonite handles and brass fittings. Made to order 1941 by cabinetmaker Herluf Sørensen. H. 100 cm. D. 34 cm. L. 191 cm.
Provenance: Made by special order in 1941 for manufacturer Johnny Mürsch's home in Frederiksberg.
