Axel Einar Hjorth (b. Krokek 1888, d. Stockholm 1959)
“Lido”. Sculptural easy chair with black lacquered birch base. Sides, seat and back upholstered with patinated reddish brown leather. This example designed and made 1932 by Nordiska Kompaniet (NK), Sweden, with brass tag no. R 36277 - C.
Provenance: Acquired 1932 from NK by present owner's family. Hence by descent in the family.
