A silver shield, of oval form, embossed with cartouches and foliage, surrounding an engraved light, prancing horse, with a hook at top. Presumably a guild sign for an alderman's goblet. Apparently unmarked. 18th century. Examined to fineness 800. Weight 45 g. H. 13 cm. W. 11.5 cm.
Condition
Minor wear due to age, including few marks and scratches plus a tear (c. 2 millimeter) with a little chip at top.
