Albert Küchler (b. Copenhagen 1803, d. Rome 1886)

Küchler's painting “Domestic scene by Lake Nemi”, which he painted in 1837, today at Thorvaldsen Museum, became so popular that he repeated the subject several times. In 1844 David Monies also executed a lithograph of the popular painting by Küchler.
