The present painting is a copy after A portrait of Johanne Elisabeth Pingel, registered as no. 606, Ellen Poulsen, A Catalogue Raisonné of the works of Jens Juel, 1991. The sitter was married to Jules Desaugiers in 1808.
Provenance: Bruun Rasmussen auktion Vejle, 535, 2005 no. 600.
Crackles. A few minor retouches, a few minimal peelings and two minimal pressure marks. In need of cleaning.
