A pair of French historicist silver-plated heat containers, of circular shape, comprising a removable and smooth dish, under which a canister with profiled twin handles, raised on four volute legs with foliage, bottom with air holes. Christofle, Paris 1844–1862. H. 10 cm. W. 33 cm. Diam. 24.5 cm. (8)

Provenance: Vice-consul and merchant Ferdinand Tutein (1788–1880), Copenhagen, and his wife Josepha Tutein, née Siboni (1806–1866), daughter of singer Giuseppe Siboni. Then their son, merchant Frederik Giuseppe Gustav Tutein (1825–1920), Gurrehus Castle. Thence by descents until today. The family Tutein was part of the highest bourgeois class in Denmark
