The old watermill in Silkeborg was presumably constructed during the middle ages. It was used to utilise the stream from Gudenåen, until it was closed down due to Papirfabrikken (the Paper Factory) being established in 1844. Copy after Andreas Thomas Juuel. The original is exhibited at Museum Silkeborg.

Condition

Light wear along the right side. A few minor peelings.
