A Russian silver and cloisonné enamel kovsh, gilt interior, of almost circular form with raised front and handle, body with chased cartouche drops, richly decorated with stylized flowers, foliage and dots. Maria Vasilievna Semenova, marked with the Imperial Warrant as purveyor to the Imperial Russian Court, assayer Alexander Alexeevich Smirnov 1894, Moscow town mark, 84 standard. Weight 180 g. H. 7 cm. L. 13 cm.

Condition

Minimal wear due to age and use, including few and small marks and scratches in the silver. Examination in UV-light shows no enamal restorations.
