A double chain necklace decorated with a star pattern and a clasp in the shape of a hand with a snake set with a cabochon turquoise on the finger, mounted in 18k gold. Weight app. 45 g. L. 44–46 cm. Circa 1790's.
Accompanied by a statement from Georg Jensen, Fifth Avenue, New York dated November 1958, declaring the necklace to be from a London estate sale. Accompanied by a case from Georg Jensen.
