A Chinese pewter - encased Yixing teapot and cover, cylindrical with inscription and engraved flowers, flanked with a jade handle and spout, flat lid with a cylindrical jade finial. 19th century. H. 10 cm.
Provenance: Telegraph Manager and art collector Sophus Black, 1882–1960.

Wear due to age and use, with dents and scratches.
