Around 1960 Christian Megert is part of the circles around Gruppo Zero and in 1961 he had a solo exhibition at Galerie Köpcke, Copenhagen. The work is probably acquired directly from the artist by Mr. Knud Pedersen of The Art Library, Copenhagen.
