Portrait of a naval officer, presumably Lars Kiæromgaard in cuirass standing by a canon. In the distance Danish and Dutch warships firing canons. Unsigned. Verso inscribed Captain L. Kiærom[..]? Oil on canvas. 91×76 cm.

The canvas is relined. Repairs and retouches. Minor crackles and along the stretcher a faint mark.
