The American artist KC Ortiz (b. 1978, Chicago), lives and works in Copenhagen, Denmark. KC Ortiz is a self-taught photographer, illustrator, and painter. He began his path in art at the age of 12 by painting graffiti in his hometown. His work examines the individual's constant search for freedom, both conscious and physical, in a landscape occupied by boundaries, obstacles and distractions. Represented at Rammefabrikken.

The work is part of a charity auction to benefit “Børns Vilkår” (Children's Rights Denmark). The auction is initiated and curated by “Curated by Jens-Peter Brask”. The artists have generously donated their works. Bruun Rasmussen Auctioneers do not charge fees or commission so the total proceeds will go undiminished to Børns Vilkår's important work.
