A Danish noble Art Nouveau silver jardiniére, of oval form, cast with fluted edges and leafy-lopped bands with ribbons, two cartouches engraved with crowned monogram FOR and dating 1883–25. Provenance: Silver wedding gift to Baron Fritz Rosenkrantz (1850–1925) and his wife, Baroness Oluffa Rosenkrantz (1860–1954), née Krabbe. They were married in the Forest Chapel in Klampenborg, where the Baron was a forest ranger with his father at Sophiendal Manor. In 1884, the couple inherited Liselund Manor, where they moved to. Thence by descendants until today.
